ITINERARY DETAILS

DAY:- 01 | Leh

On arrival at Kushok Bakula airport in Leh the airport is situated at a height of 3,500 meters, Meet Adi Shakti’ representative for a smooth transferred to your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is to acclimatize you with high altitude pressure as well as the weather condition of the Leh. In the evening explore the cafe’s which are quite famous all over the world overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY:- 02 |  Leh Local

Morning treat your taste bud with super delicious and freshly cooked breakfast. Hope your wanderlust wouldn’t allow you to be delay to explore the Leh. Start your day by visiting Lehh Jokhang, the central Buddhist temple, which is a simple affair. The warren-like Old Town, just behind the bazaar is a shadow of its former self, its concrete. The historic Munshi House, erstwhile home of the king’s secretary has been restored and is now the Ladakh Arts and media Organization centre also make a visit to Shanti Stupa in Changspa is a relatively new addition to Leh, inaugurated by the Dalai Lama in 1985 also visit the oldest stupa in Leh which is yellow Mane Tsermo. In evening explore the main bazaar of the Leh which offers the beautiful pearl, turquoise, coral, lapis, lazuli and silver jewellery. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY:- 03  | Leh – Nubra Valley

Early morning, leave on road to Nubra Valley via Khardongla Pass which is the located at a height of 18360 ft. above the sea level and considered as the highest motorable pass of the world excited enough. In the afternoon, explore Hunder & Diskit monastery and white sand dunes via camel safari. Also opt for the safari tour with double humped camels, yes camel in Leh that are found only in Nubra Valley. Stay overnight at camp.

DAY:- 04 |  Nubra Valley – Leh

Following the Samstanling Monastery tour in the morning, you will drive back to Leh via Khardongla Pass. In the evening, explore the local bazaars of Leh or go for a walk to understand more about the culture of Leh. One can purchase shopping items such as Pashmina shawls, Chinese cutleries, good pearls and Ladakhi woolen handicrafts. Stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY:- 05 | Leh – Pangong Lake

Morning has your breakfast and drive to the famous Pangong lake. The Pangong Lake is approx 135 kilometers away from Leh and located at an elevation of 4,400 meters above the sea level. En route, you’ll cross the Chang la pass third highest motor able pass in the world and also drive through Durbuk and Tangtse village situated in the Changthang region of Ladakh. The most beautiful lake where the shoot of ‘Jab tak hai jaan’ movie and 3 idiots movie took place.

In the afternoon, explore the lake and its surroundings. A tour of the local village will enable cultural insight into Leh. Stay overnight at the tented camp near the lake

DAY:- 06 |  Pangong lake – Leh

During the early morning, you can enjoy a photo-session around the lake. Post breakfast, drive back to Leh. An optional tour of Hemis Monastery 5 kilometer away from Leh near Kharu is also on the cards. Drive back to Leh by afternoon. In the evening, go for a shopping tour in the local markets of Leh. Stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY:- 07 |  Leh- Tso-Moriri

On the seventh day of your Leh Tour itinerary, you’ll drive down to the picturesque Tso-moriri lake. Enroute you’ll be passing Chumathang hot spring along the Indus River. Once you reach the lake rest for a while. In the evening you can go for an evening walk at the lakeside and enjoy the scenic beauty. Dinner and overnight stay at not so luxurious but comfortable camp at Tso-Moriri.

DAY:- 08 |   Tso-Moriri – Leh

Morning after breakfast head towards Leh. Enroute you’ll pass Pugathe pictures Tsokar lake. By evening you’ll arrive at Leh. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY:- 09 |   Return to Home

In the morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transferred to the airport to board a back flight to home. As your Leh trip comes to end.
