The bumpy, narrow and winding snow capped mountain roads with blind curves, deep gorges and ravines at numerous points will keep pumping adrenaline through your veins. Upon arrival at Manali meet our representative at Manali new bus stand at around 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Before you start your Thar expedition there will be an introduction session among other team members and brief about the trip. Manali is the first stage, travel 230 km through the Himalayas to Jispa and then to final destination Sarchu. As you gain elevation and reach the bewitching Rohtang Pass, the trees will disappear, and vast and lush grasslands will be seen at some place you can also found snow-capped mountain. Just as you reach the Lahaul and Spiti district, the greenery will also diminish and the brown and barren slopes of this cold desert will take over. Upon arrival to Jispa check-in to pre booked guest house and relax overnight. From Jispa to Sarchu excursion will take you through Baralacha La, which at about 16000 feet above sea level, is among the highest motorable roads in India but on earth as well. The terrain along the road is tough and the pavement, bumpy and rocky, so drive carefully and slowly as this part of the road has claimed many lives. Overnight stay in Sarchu.
Wake up early and have your breakfast and begin your thar journey from Sarchu, you will enter the Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir. The adventurous ride today will take you on the high passes like Nakee La, Lachung La and Tanglang La. En route, you will also cross the villages of Upshi and Rumtse, and drive along the pristine Indus River. If time allows, you can also pay a visit to the well-known Thiksey Monastery, known for its collection of rare thangkas, stupa and paintings. Later, reach Leh for stay overnight.
Wake up early morning have your breakfast and start exploring as there are number of popular tourist attractions that you may visit, such as Leh Palace and above the palace, the Namgyal Tsemo Gompa, Shanti Stupa in Changspa is a relatively new addition to Leh, inaugurated by the Dalai Lama in 1985and Jama Masjid. For shopping, handicraft emporia and bookstores can all be found in Main Bazar. Overnight stay at Leh.
Wake up early in the morning and get ready to see a high altitude glacial desert that houses real sand dunes in sub zero temperatures. Nubra is around 160 km away from Leh and it takes around 5 hours to reach. On the way you can visit the Samstanling monastery and Ensa Gompa. Nubra itself is a valley of tremendous beauty with its yellowish textured mountains and clean blue streams. Nubra and Shyok rivers meet and create this valley that is separated from the rest of the Ladakh range.
Your Thar expedition Ladakh will now get you to the picturesque Pangong Tso Lake. During the course of your journey, cross the approximately 17585- feet high Chang La mountain pass. Along the way, visit the famous Buddhist monasteries of Shey, Hemis and Thiksey. Also remember to click snaps wherever you find a view, worth capturing forever. As you near Pangong Tso, get off your thar and walk them to the lake. Overnight stay under the twinkling stars at camp.
Wake up to an enchanting sunrise over Pangong Tso and recommence your expedition to Leh Ladakh. On the way, see the famed school that was used as an off-studio location in the hit Hindi film, 3 Idiots.This phase of your journey involves crossing the approximately 17582-feet high Khardung La, claimed to be the highest motorable road in the world, to Nubra Valley.
Note: You have to Leave Leh somewhere around 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM.
Wake up early morning have your breakfast and drive to Tso Moriri is another alpine lake in the Ladakh range which is 220 km away from Leh and can be reached after a 5 hours drive. You will reach Tso Moriri during the afternoon and then spend the rest of the day admiring the beauty of the place. The lake is surrounded by sandy textures and mountain horses can also be spotted in their natural habitat. You will stay the night in a lakeside camp.
Wake up early morning have your breakfast. Now it’s time to take you U-turn and start back journey. Upon arrival at Sarchu, you can check-in to the pre-booked guest house and relax.
Wake up grab the morning tea or have your breakfast and leave Sarchu. Upon arrival to Manali. Board your bus or vehicle for onward journey. If you want you can also explore Manali at your own cost.

In this region there is no relevance between the distance and time travelling as it depends upon the conditions of roads, climate and congestion of traffic.
If Roads is not open due to heavy snowfall/ Landslides/ Political issue/natural calamities/ uncertain events; then guest have to stay at the same place without any option . Company shall not be held responsible for Road Blocks/ Natural calamities/ uncertain events.
If guest decide to discontinue the trip or want any kind of changes in the itinerary in that case guest have to pay additional amount to the company.

Cancellation Policy:
Adi Shakti Travels realizes that most people who cancel their reservations do so out of necessity. Nevertheless, cancellations are costly to administer and involve dedicated staff time and communications costs.
Therefore, all cancellations made before 30 days after booking are subject to 8% deduction of total tour cost.
Cancellation made between 29-22 days after booking is subject to a non-refundable of 22%.
Cancellation made between 21-16 days after booking is subject to a non-refundable of 50% deduction of total tour cost.
Cancellation made 15-9 days before commencement of tour after booking are subject to a 70% of tour cost. Cancellation made within 9-3 days prior to departure 90% of total tour cost.
Cancellation made Day of departure or now shows – 100% of tour cost.
Cancellations are based on total package bases. Please note, however, that reservations made after the final payment date are immediately subject to cancellation charges.
If you need to cancel your reservation, please send us a mail at info@adishaktitravels.com and contact our Customer Service Representative. To receive any refund, if applicable, that may be due will be processed within 35 days after our receipt of your written notice of cancellation. Traveler substitutions are considered reservation cancellations and are subject to cancellation fees. Please note that we do not make any refunds for any unused portion of your trip.
