Ladakh Bike Trip : Manali Leh Shrinagar

Itinerary

• Day 1 – Delhi-Manali – Overnight in a Bus

  Arrive at Delhi reporting point and board bus for Manali.

  Enjoy the overnight journey in AC semi-sleeper bus. (approximately 560kms/12hours)

• Day 2 – Arrive in Manali

  Morning arrival in Manali in Himachal Pradesh

  Get transferred to the hotel.

  You will have an orientation with the group and will be introduced to your bikes.

  Enjoy a short ride and have guided motorbike tour of Solang valley.

  Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel

• Day 3 – Manali to Jispa via Rohtang Pass

  After having your breakfast, you will be starting your ride towards Jispa

  You will be crossing Rohtang Pass (3,980m) on your bikes to arrive into the mesmerizing Lahaul Valley

  Keep riding to reach into Jispa, which is your first stayover on the Manali Leh Highway

  Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel or guesthouse

  Distance you covered today is 140kms

• Day 4 – Jispa to Sarchu via Baralacha La

  Take your breakfast in Jispa before leaving for today’s ride to Sarchu

  You will be crossing the mighty Baralacha La Pass (4,800m)

  On the way will also fall the beautiful lake of Suraj Tal

  Arrive in Sarchu for your dinner and overnight stay in camps

  Distance covered today is 190kms

• Day 5 – Sarchu to Leh

  After your breakfast, we start riding towards Leh

  You will come across and will be riding on 21 Gata Loops, 45kms of Pang ground and the high mountain pass Tanglang La (5,328m)

  Arrive in Leh shortly after and check in to Hotel/Guesthouse

  Overnight at Leh stay

  Distance covered today- 253kms

• Day 6 – Sightseeing at Leh

  After enjoying your Breakfast start your day.

  Visit Shanti Stupa, a popular sunset spot with a panoramic city view and then to Leh Palace.

  Later drop at the local bazaar in Leh to explore the city.

  Relax with an overnight stay at Leh.

• Day 7 – Leh-Khardungla-Nubra

  Today you will be traveling a distance of 130 km.

  In morning ride to Nubra Valley.

  On the route cover Khardung La, which is the highest motorable road in the world, at 5602 m.

  From this pass, one can see the Indus valley and alluring peaks.

  Nubra valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers.

  Overnight in Camp/Hotel

• Day 8 – Nubra to Pangong via Shyok valley

  Riding from Nubra to Pangong Tso

  We dive into an early breakfast before leaving for the famous Pangong Tso from Nubra Valley

  We will be venturing into Shyok Valley and drive along the Shyok river

  Arrive at the beautiful lake by late afternoon or early evening

  Check into camps

  Dinner and overnight stay at Pangong camps

  Distance traveled today- 160kms

• Day 9 – Back to Leh.

  Wake up in the morning to the beautiful Pangong Tso

  After your breakfast, you will be leaving for Leh on your bikes

  Upon arrival, you will be checking in to the hotel, and the remaining day is for you to spend at leisure

  Dinner at hotel

  Overnight in Leh

• Day 10 – Leh- Lamayuru- Kargil

  After getting in breakfast, we will start riding towards Lamayuru

  Lamayuru is the oldest monastery in Ladakh region

  We will also be visiting Basgo Palace

  Starting on the Ladakh- Srinagar highway, we will ride to Kargil, and visit the Giant Buddha at Mulbek en-route

  Arrive in Kargil and check in to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay

  Distance covered today- 245kms

• Day 11 – Kargil to Srinagar via Zoji La

  After having breakfast, we start riding towards Srinagar

  Enroute, we will be passing the second coldest inhabited place in the world, Drass

  You will have amazing views of Kargil, Tiger Hill and other famous peaks from the Kargil War

  You will also cross the famous Zoji La and arrive in Srinagar by the evening

  Dinner and overnight in a hotel

• Day 12 – Return from Srinagar

  After breakfast, you will be transferred to Srinagar Airport for your return flight
